My first East Coast Lobster Roll

Our first night out exploring in Portland and we have to go for a Lobster Roll, that’s the thing!

Katie’s parents, Cheryl and Scott, were still in town so we all went out to dinner after Katie got off work. Another night or two left overlapping their visit to Maine.

We make it to Portland Lobster Co. and turns out to be a more-than-usual-rainy-summer there too. It was sprinkling when we got there so we tried to find a seat outside that was dry. The inside is super small and apparently always crowded. Cheryl, Scott, and I go to try and land a table since it was starting to get really busy. They had a live band playing that night too!

We snag a standing table that was covered enough, technically, but your butt would still get wet. So Scott goes to look down the row of picnic tables one more time juuuusstt incase… and bam! Open table just then - a fully covered one big enough for the 5 of us.
